Oooo Girl Who Told You That Was Cute?
Ok so I was perusing the net...ended up at Glamour and they had the Do's and Don'ts for the beach. Well beach season is officially here and in order for you to stay away from the fashion police here are a few tips that can help you. You do not want to be a fashion disaster!

Really? Is she serious? I hope not...sandals please ladies...sandals
Take it back into time...high waisted 2-piece is classic 1950s look

While tiny triangle bikinis look fab on smaller-chested gals, they can be harder to pull off once you get into C-cup territory. (Sometimes “the girls” need a little extra support!)
You never know where a day at the beach will take you. Be prepared for an impromptu date or lunch with the girls by tucking a fun sundress in your bag. Plus, fun patterned versions make great cover-ups for when you’ve had enough sun.

Always sexy: a classic black one-piece.
bikini—totally cute. The sunburn—not. Next time, try sunscreen.
Do mix and match. Striped-on-top, solid-on-bottom is perfection. (I actually just bought to suits similar to this. One is a black bikini bottom with a white, black, and sliver snake skin top, and the second one is a hot pink and leopard bottom with a black bandeau top) I can't wait to hit the beach
Avoid the spillage. The top is too small and the rolled down jeans is pretty lame so find a suit that fits and get a cute coverup

Say no to thongs!!! No one wants to see that...its pretty disgusting

A white bikini that shows off your body is a Do. Just make sure it’s lined.

-Don't confuse lingerie with swimwear
-Don't wear your heels to the beach...you are really gonna try to walk in sand in stilletos...smh
-Don't over accessorize
-Do wear a fly pair of shades!
Until next time...

Hair Chronicles: Summer Hair Care Tips
Summer Hair Care Tips!

Sunlight, chlorine, salt water and natural outdoor environmental stresses are major abuses for summer hair. To protect and preserve your natural, relaxed and color-treated tresses during the summer months, Mizani haircare expert and author of Textured Tresses, Diane Da Costa offers the following:

1. Making leave-in conditioners your number one friend. Apply Mizani ThermaStrength Style Serum before any enhancing styling creams, to detangle your hair, before you go to the beach or pool or before laying out in the sun. Mizani ThermaStrength acts a a protectant and buffer between your hair and the sun and thermal styling
2. To prevent dry, brittle hair during the summer months pamper your tresses with intense hydration treatments at least once per summer months. Mizani Moisturfusion Ultra Hydration System is a 15 minute express treatment that infuses Avocado oils, coconut and rosemary oils that will get you in and out of the salon in record time.
3. Lack of trimming or shaping your tresses during the summer months may cause split ends. To avoid breakage and split ends moisture your natural, relaxed or soften hair daily or as need with Mizani Butter Rich and Coconut Souffle, our new moisturizing hair creams. They are rich in Shea butter, coconut oil and do not contain any petroleum, mineral oil or lanolin, perfect for daily weightless styling and a great shine without a greasy feel. 4. Curly and wavy individual braids and extensions are the ultimate care-free style for summer months.
5. Natural foods and vitamins that are great for growing and maintaining healthy hair are vitamin A,B, C & D.....and avocado. Foods rich in anti-oxidants like pomegranate, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries help prevent shedding and hair loss. Other foods that are great for the hair are Seaweed, Salmon, Fish oils, fruits like carrots, oranges and grate fruit. Also beans like kidney beans and pinto beans that are rich in natural proteins.

The Look For Less: Chloe
Summer is almost here, although it is difficult to tell based on the weather we have been having lately...anyway...you need to stay protected and fly. Earlier this week I did a post on sunglasses as summer essentials, well I saw these fly Chloe glasses for $290...and I thought....ummmm yeah right
Then I found these babies right here. The same look with minor differences in the detail (The gold Chloe sign on the arm of the glasses). These are a whopping, yes I said whopping (don't judge me) $5.80 at Forever21

We give you the info, you make the call....$290 or $5.80 (Think about what you could do with the extra $284.20)
