Thirsty Thursday: Coco Colada

The CoCo Colada
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz. Dark Creme de Cacao
  • 4 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1 1/2 z. Cream of Coconut

Method:

Blend together with cracked ice until smooth and garnish if desired.


I love this outfit because it is transitional. This look can be worn in the fall with a boyfriend blazer or oversized cardigan and a pair of opaque tights. So get this look for Now&Later.

Thirsty Thursday: Belvedere Black Raspberry

Belvedere Black Raspberry Kir Royale
1 oz. Belvedere Black Raspberry
1 bar spoon of premium raspberry jam (yes, Jam)
Dash of fresh lemon juice
4 oz. champagne
Shake the first ingredients with cubed ice & strain into a champagne flute. Top with champagne & stir gently to mix ingredients. Garnish with a rose petal or fresh raspberry. Enjoy responsibly please!180.Raspberry

1/2 tsp. White Rum
1 Slice Banana
1/2 tsp. Banana Liqueur
2 dashes Orange Bitters

Thirsty Thursday: Pina Colada Punch

"If you like Pina Colada, takin walks in the rain"....y'all know nothin about that song!
I've been hangin out with some of my girlies, (since Cam left me all by myself :(
We've been cookin, laughing at old memories & makin/experimentin with drinks. My friend is havin a Pina Colada attack, so everything is all.....Pina Colada & whatnot, I have to say our drinks came out pretty good ,considering the first set was a little too strong, (we used too much liquor)...thumbs up on the second one!Chop lots of ice in a blender
Pina Colada Bacardi Mixer
3 Parts Malibu Rum
1/2 cup crushed pineapples
1 part cream/milk optional

Thirsty Thursday: Woo Woo

Yes, the Woo Woo, such a classic! It never gets old. Throw on your favorite flirty pary dress and hit the club! Th perfect drink for a girls night on the town
Ingredients:
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz Peach Schnapps
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
Method:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Combine ingredients and shake well, strain into a cocktail shaker.


Can also be served as a shooter. In that case reduce liqours to 3/4 oz. each and the Cranberry to 1/2 oz. serve in a rocks glass.

2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. Superfine sugar
2 oz. Apricot Brandy
3-4 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a shaker & shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with piece of apricot or lemon.

1/2 o.z fresh squeezed lime juice
3/4 o.z liquefied honey or sugar water

Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker w/ice. Strain & pour straight up or on the rocks. Garnish w/ slice of lime

Thirsty Thursday: Raspberry Mojito


1/2 tsp sugar
6-8 fresh mint leaves
Fresh raspberries (optional)
2 lime wedges
club soda
2oz. rum
1/2oz. Chambord

Add sugar, mint leaves, lime wedges & a splash of club soda to a tall glass. Muddle until sugar is dissolved. Add ice to glass. Add rum & Chambord. Stir to mix. Top with a splash of soda. Add mint leaves, raspberries & slice of lime for decor

Thirsty Thursday: Watermelon Mojito


4 1- inch watermelon cubes
Several mint sprigs
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon simple syrup (equal parts water & sugar, brought to a boil, then cooled)
1/3 cup white rum
Fill a glass with ice. Crush the watermelon & six mint leaves together in a cocktail shaker, then add ice, lime juice, simple syrup, & rum, while shaking vigorously. Strain into glass & top with soda water. Garnish with sliced watermelon & mint spring

Ingredients:
3 cl vodka
orange juice
pineapple juice
grenadine syrup
1 slice orange
Method:
Mix vodka and juices, pour over ice in a glass, and layer a little grenadine on top.
Garnish with a slice of orange.

Thirsty Thursday:Zen Martini

Ingredients: 2 oz. organic cucumber vodka
3/4 oz. lime juice

3/4 oz. simple syrup

1/4 oz. cucumber juice

Fingerful of mint
1. In a pint glass, build mint, 3/4 oz. each fresh lime & simple syrup, 1/4 oz. cucumber juice & 2 oz. cucumber vodka
2. add ice
3. shake vigorously in a cocktail shaker & strain into a martini glass

Memorial Day Dream
1/2 oz vodka
1/4 oz triple sec
3/4 oz lemon schnapps
1/4 - 1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 - 3/4 oz half-and-half
1/8 oz grenadine syrup
Method:
In cocktail mixer filled with ice, combine all ingredients. Shake or stir & strain into rocks glass or large shot glass.
Tip: If the right amount of grenadine is used, it should be the color of orange sherbert.

Thirsty Thursday:White Grape Cosmo

Ingredients:
1 1/4 ounces Smirnoff
White Grape Flavored Vodka
1/4 ounce triple sec
2 ounces cranberry juice
1 ounce lemon- lime soda

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain & serve in a martini glass. Add a dash of lemon juice or squeeze of lemon. Raspberries are optional.

Thirsty Thursday: Sexy Mamasita

Perfect for a ladies night out!
You'll need: 1 bottle of Moet Chandon White Star Champagne
2 cups of fresh strawberries ,pureed & strained

Place eight champagne flutes in the freezer for twenty minutes.

Let the champagne stand in an ice bucket for five minutes after opening, (place it in the freezer if you don't have one), after opening. Pour the pureed strawberries into a pitcher that has a tall swizzle & stirrer. Gently pour in the bottle of Moet & stir gently to combine. This of course, serves eight, enjoy responsibly.

Thirsty Thursday: Bacardi Dulce de Leche

1oz. Bacardi Superior Rum, 1/2 oz. Dark Godiva Liqueur (or any other dark chocolate liqueur), 1/2 oz. sweetened condensed milk.
Shake very well in a cocktail shaker with ice & strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a pinch of ground cinnamon & shaved chocolate

No, No silly not the cartoon, it's actually a drink!

Just in time for Earth week's festivities, Courvoisier's layers of subtle flavors & it's distinctive taste make this drink a must-have for seasonal celebrations. Careful, it's been known to creep up on the unsuspecting.


1 ounce Courvousier cognac

2 ounces Hypnotiq liqueur

2 ounces Midori melon liqueur

5 ice cubes in a Coupe glass

First, pour Courvoisier (1 ounce), then, Hypnotiq (2 ounces), then Midori, (melon)

Stir drink (do not shake), & serve

Ingredients
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz white creme de cacao
Top with half-and-half
Method
Pour blue curacao and creme de
cacao over ice cubes in an old fashioned glass. Float half and half on top to taste, and serve.

Thirsty Thursday: Hokey Pokey

Ok you put your right foot in you take your right foot out...you know the song. This drink will definitely have doin the hokey pokey and you won't even remember. Make sure you wear flats, we don't want you ending up on your face....the drunken girl is so not hot...I don't care what Kanye says :-)
Ingredients:
1 oz Bacardi® Razz rum
1 oz Bacardi® O rum
1 oz Bacardi® Limon rum
1 oz Malibu® coconut rum
top with pineapple juice

Method:
Combine all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into shot glasses, and serve.

Purple Passion
Remy Martin, the oldest V.S.O.P (very special opaque pale) in the world, is recognized for it's champagne-like effervescence & is wonderful for mixing with high-end liqueurs 3 ounces Remy Red Cognac
3 ounces Alize Red Passion Liqueur
3 ounces Hypnotic Liqueur
Pour all ingredients over ice in a Collins glass. Adjust amounts if needed until the drink is a purple color, & serve.
