Cheer Up!

Team Spirits
Happy Hour just got Happier. Having a drink with your HOMEGIRLS is connected to lower rates of STROKE & CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE, (don't think it can't happen to you because your too young). A lack of SOCIAL SUPPORT can cause heart-harmful mental stress in solo sippers, countering any of alcohol's perks. So celebrate & have a martini with your girlie's, (safely please)...Can't find a reason to celebrate?...your alive aren't you:)CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!Click & Smile
A simple password can strengthen your spirit. Pick one that refers to a trait you want to develop ("Be Courageous!"). Typing it reinforces your motivation.

Polished

One of this season's major trends is the Lacquer Nail Polish Manicure. With it's rich thickness & array of colors, shades & hues, I'm definitely a major fan. Fan & all I can sometimes be annoyed, when days after my DIY nails or walking out of the salon, my Perfect Manicure is already chipping & Dam only three days ago. I'm sure you can relate. On my quest to preserve my manicure, I discovered in order to prevent chips, & Maintain Your Manicure for days to come, brush a top coat in both directions across the end of your nails & viola they last longer!

Do tha Wispy Twist

Wispy Twist
A classic with lots of flirty, floaty pieces-definitely date-night material! Starting from the bottom of your hair, tightly twist & roll it up toward the crown of your head: pin it in place. Tuck the ends under & secure those with more pins. Now pull out a few strays to complete the finish. Celebs rock it too!
I love wearing my hair like this, especially when I want that innocent school-girl look, (i.e add nerd glass & red lips )

Fight tha Frizz

Ever had one of those days when you come outside looking all cute with your fresh dubee & before you can even reach your destination your hair goes, "KUPUT" or "POOF". Try these surefire ways to Fight tha Frizz! For sleekness, some hair pros swear by dark beer-poured on just-washed hair, rinsed out after two minutes & followed by conditioner. (Take a swig if absolutely can't resist). Try a weekly coconut-oil scalp massage; it's how Indian women keep their hair silky smooth.

For a midday touch-up, dab a drop of hand cream onto frizzy spots.
To protect hair from the drying, frizz-inducing sun, wear a hat!

Shrink a Pimple Overnight
Warm H2o on a cotton swab takes down pimples. Place the end of a cotton swab in hot but not boiling water, & gently touch it against the head of the pimple for three seconds. This will help minimize it by morning.Shave Your Legs in a Hurry

Vitamin E in body wash lubricates legs for shaving. To shave super fast without getting nicks, lather legs with a creamy body wash, then go over your shins & calves with a five blade razor-you'll only have to make one pass.
Depuff Your Eyes ASAP The Caffeine in black tea minimizes under-eye bags. The caffeine constricts blood vessels & reduces puffiness

How To Stretch Your Clothes

Incoporate workout-wear
Bike shorts are in this season believe it or not(I'm very serious).Pair your gym staples with heels, tailored jacket or cardigan or even a short jumpsuit .Their is no limit to how creative you can be!

Add a personal touch to preppy polos
Every now & then we want to pull off the preppy look (especially with all the new school inspired blazers & cardigans) , sew patches like these or whatever you like (available at craft stores) onto plain shirts for a trendy, Gossip Girl-inspired look.

Invest in crazy versitile items
Throw on a vest or cardigan to instantly change your look. A ribbon belt doubles as a headband or cute bracelet or belt ( be creative).Treat your bag to a makeover
If a spring bag isn't in the (credit) cards, dress up the old one you have by putting on some, say it to your face, buttons or tie a cute scarf around it. Create your own "designer" jeans
Instead of buying the new It distressed denim, rip holes in a cheaper pair or old pair you already have.Toss them in the wash to get that soft, frayed look. For warmer days though please, you look a little confused wearing these on colder days (confused is a better word)

A Hood Trend

O.K ladies I was running some errands on my lovely week off & happen to stumble along a new trend sweeping the hood & coming to the one nearest you.lol Now you know sometimes we like to run outside real quick or just go somewhere in general & we might not feel like doing our hair, so tie it up & then wrap it up with a mink ( or faUx fur, whatever you can afford) head wrap.To me it makes perfect sense, it's stylish, doesn't look as ghetto & hides your scarf which I think is kinda cute.

Quick Fixes For Common Styling Mistakes
Even if your a hair-tool pro, chances are, you'll have a minor slip-up at some point. Check out these helpful hairstyling tips for the best ways to handle heated situations.

1.You burnt your face with a curling iron .Press a cool washcloth on skin, then apply Vaseline, $1.99, to help speed up healing/100% CoCo butter stick is a great help also, (It worked for me about two weeks ago when I burnt my face, all gone now.) 2. You burnt your fingertips touching a hot tool ( like a flat-iron ). Hold an ice cube for 1 minute, then rub on a thick hand cream.
3. You singed your scalp with a blowdryer. Apply an ice pack for 2 minutes, then pat with cotton moistened soothing milk.
