Safety Pin Trend...
I feel as if I'm a bit late, but a Trend has snuck right by me! I didn't even notice it but I have to say, it has grown on me. I've seen Safety Pins on celebs & Fashions before a little here & there but I never noticed that it was such a big Trend...I feel like I've been under a rock & as a Fashionista, I feel so ashamed to not have noticed sooner :(....Moving on, I really like this Trend. It's unique but not really, cuz in my heart, I feel like this has been being done, on the low for a while. "Coincidentally" Marc Jacobs started doing it in his Fall 2009 Collection & now everyone thinks it's such a big to-do, anyhow (I'm kinda soundin like I don't like it, I'm really diggin it, trust me)

Nicole Richie launched her line for maternity clothing line "A Pea in the Pod" and all of Hollywood's mama's to be came out to support...

Nicole looks FABULOUS!!!!! She is carrying beautifully!

Tisha Campbell Martin...it doesn't look like a pea in that pod, more like a pumpkin but she looks great!

I was a little hesitant when it came to doing this post, but I decided to do it anyway. I've been to a million other blogs and 97% have the same tag line "and I sport fly $#!t I should win an ESPYYY" from none other than Mr. Shawn Carter. So here you have it, some looks from the 2009 Espy Awards.

I think Venus out did herself with this look! She looks gorgeous! I don't think I've ever seen her look this good before. That dress is just immaculate! Her hair and makeup just completes the look

I must say Serena hit the nail on the head with this look! She looks so regal! The hair, makeup, color and style of the dress...two thumbs up! Mel should've been your date...

I just adore Carmelo! Since his days at Syracuse. He has really stepped his style game up! I love it! The blazer, the shoes, the tie, the face...LaLa you are a lucky one :-)

Kobe, with all of that money, you let Vanessa come out the house looking like a street walker? She needs to cover the girls up. You on the other hand, VERY NICE! I'm not even a fan of yours but, VERY NICE. Vanessa's shoes get a pass because I heart RED BOTTOMS!

Simone Says....Shave Your Head

Ok so the girls over in the UK have been doing this for years...thanks Kesh...but recently Cassie and LaLa have jumped on the bandwagon. Guess who got the "I'm gonna shave my head" bug next....RIHANNA!!!!!

Her confidence allows her to pull off any look! Ladies this is where we need to be if we are not there yet. (I'm talking about confidence not shaving your head)

I must say...she is OWNING THIS LOOK!!! As much as I don't want to like it because it has become too trendy...Rihanna's (I can't believe I'm using this word) swag is impeccable! She is really owning this ROCK STAR look. I can't believe she did this. It is not like Miss Fenty to (I can't believe I'm using this either) "swagger jack" but she is definitely in a league of her own now.

Now I'm going to be forced to see 3001 chicks walking the streets of New York with this look. Ladies, it is great to take chances and risks, but seriously think about your future and your careers before you go shaving your head. These celebrities can afford to have $1000 wig created for them if they want to switch up their look. I am not one to follow hair trends, besides the bang or a bob, but if you do more power to you!
