If you are on a tight budget (it’s understandable people, we are in a recession) here are some ways to bring in the new year recession style. Some clubs, lounges, and restaurants are charging between $50-$100+ to bring in 09 and for what reason, to stand all night in a crowded area where people get drunk and act a fool? If it was $20 ok, because that’s what happens in a club but $50 and up….I don’t think so
1.Have your own little ladies night- Invite a few of your closest friends over. everyone chips in for food and drinks. Put on some Sasha Fierce and party the night away-talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of 2008-you know everything is funny when you are a little “nice” so make it a good night with the ladies
2. If you have a boo and you want to stay in, well get cozy on the couch or “infront of the fire place” and gaze into each other’s eyes and tell them how lucky he (or she) is lucky to have you…lol…no you guys can party with Sasha Fierce too…lol…make it a couples gathering
3. Spend time with your loved ones. Play cards, play music, guitar hero, karaoke night, watch old family videos…do something
4. Go to church-that's always a great way to bring in the new year!
If you live in the hood, I would stay away from the windows at about 11:58p.m., you know these fools start shooting 2 minutes before the ball drop…SMH…However you bring in the new year, make sure you are safe, fabulous, confident, and DELECTABLY S.W.E.E.T!
